The lighting and the depth of field make this a great calming shot.

Appealing. I prefer this angle and focus, as it has a sense of being piles high - or what you might see with your head asleep on the books after an all-night study session. Soft light, and more in focus.

i like this one too, i think i preferred the previous one a bit because i like the cooler light and that the red fabric was in focus.
