Sandhill Crane (?)

I think it's a Grey Heron. They are not very shy, can be seen even sometimes in our cities, of there's a pond.

I think it's a Great Blue Heron. Sandhill Cranes have a red forehead.

It's a great blue heron not a grey heron or sandhill crane. Trust me. Sandhill cranes are MUCH bigger and have a red head and are a sandy colour. Damn fine capture there dahling!!

We have similar birds at the park nearby and I've always known them as great blue herons, but I don't know for sure.

My brother's neighborhood is full of these characters, usually found destroying his screen doors :) He calls them "Florida robins." it's a Sandhill alright.

I should have known that, we have herons here, lots of them.

The cranes in Florida now that I think about it are more white than blue. but I did get the screen door thing right :)
