Wow, Jen ... this is wonderful. You captured the mist perfectly and the geese, water, rocks, trees and bridge just pop out of the photo.
I love the fact that yours today is "Pre-Flight" and mine is "First Flight" - totally different topics! ;D

this is a random thought, but are those silhouettes of the birds, or the opposite of silhouettes? anyway... another beautiful photo of the mist. love how you captured the birds here, though i think i liked the basic composition of yesterday's shot better

Striking image. The composition is well done, though I might have cropped more of the sky and brought the top down to the tree level so as to not overwhelm the lower half. Thanks for sharing such a lovely image.

@GJC: Thank you for the suggestion and I think you are right cropping out a bit of the sky would be a good idea.
