Funky Colored Flowers

I absolutely love buying fresh, colorful flowers in the winter...just brightens up the room!

LOL. Colors by Kroger? Or Publix? Whichever, they are still striking and this is a great way to present them. I really like noticing the couple of white petals that didn't pick up the dye.

@Viewfinder: Colors by Kroger! LOL...my son works there too so I feel obligated to use the store oh yeah and get my 10% discount too : )
Actually the dye is going into the water below...when I got them they were all colored and over time the dye drained into the water (I guess down through the stem)...pretty cool!

Beautiful!! Wonderful comp soul sista!! I'd try to take them home too but they'd probably freeze too quickly between the store and my car (-36C today so far) and then let's talk about my cats need to eat anything plant-like! LOL You do get used to these cold temps... sort-of. It's just a matter of taking extra precautions for travelling and dressing warmly. But just wait, when it warms up to say about -20ish we'll all think it's spring and be walking around with our coats open!! LOL

Lovely shot and composition. Like the soft focus and especially like the colors. Rarely see flowers that color. Great picture.
