With three HUGE white oaks out back I have to be careful sitting on the deck...good thing I have a hard hat! LOL!!!
8/18/08 - I will out of pocket for a while. My laptop is having issues and I need to get it over to a service center to fix it. I hope it doesn't take too long to get it fixed. Wish me luck!

@Rebecca: Thank you so much Rebecca...I rarely have time to get on lately, but so appreciate your lovely comments and visits! Thank you Very Very much!
I love the clarity of detail. Using the low shooting angle seems to intensify the colour. Nice job, Jen.

@John Maslowski: Thank you very very much
Jen, your photo today and yesterday's are both beautiful! I applaud the POV and the clarity of detail and low angle (as did Rebecca, John, and Michael). And there is something about acorns that really appeals to me, and always has. I don't know -- maybe it's the abundance of them, or the smooth roundness, or the fact that some have green shells, and some have brown shells as they ripen, or the little caps. I associate them with Disney's Chip 'n' Dale chipmunks, a little Golden book I once had. Definitely a warm childhood fuzzy for me.

@Viewfinder: Chip and Dale are in my backyard too...about 5 of them...cute little buggers!
Remarkable my girl!! Jen's eye to the nth degree!! Fanfreakintastic!! The dof and colours are so amazing!!
