Fall Colors

The leaves are slow to change this year...I think the drought has something to do with it.

Wonderful colours and DoF to this Jen,
Our leaves are getting more colourful here, due to the strange weather we've had, but they have been slow to change too! Some trees are bare, others are changing, and others are still green!!!

Tasty colors! It was slow to start here but it's pretty now, well today is raining but, the previous days were beautiful with lots of color.

Lost Valley View from Kamloops, Canada

The news here was really talking about the drought there! I feel badly about the seriousness that the situation has risen too. This leaf looks like it is leading the way in the changing of the seasons! Great image!! I would love to send some rain your way!

@Lost Valley View: We finally got some much needed rain, BUT not nearly enough to make a dent. Let's hope we just get in pattern for a while of rain every few days or so.

This is really, really beautiful. And yet, with the positioning and colour of the leaves, a sense of mournfulness too. Really hope the much-relieving rains/waters can come soon...

@Rebecca: They are a little droopy...we had some rain this week, but not nearly enough...I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed.
