This image stemmed from my oldest son's art project. He was to take a picture of someone or himself using light to make dramatic shadows. He was to bring in the photo and once approved draw the image himself. He took several photos and found two (one of him and one of his brother) that came out well. He printed both and took them to class to ask the teacher which she prefer he use for his drawing. She suggested he use both since each had very dark areas. The lightbulb went off in my head...if we could merge the images it could be a pretty cool drawing. So I decided to see what we could do in merge...and this is the result.
Please remember that these photos were taken by my son and the images are not exactly "clear and focused" ...This is not up for critique, I just found it an interesting and a fun experiment that we did together and wanted to share with my Am3 friends
(look Billy I did a little funkadelic like you...LOL)
I appreciate each and every visit and each and every comment...Thank you!

Jen you have something here; your narrative says both sons are in this? Or is it just your older son? Whichever, it's like a stage of the metamorphosis of moving from being boys, to coming to know themselves as young men.

@Viewfinder: It is both sons...on the left is my youngest and the left my oldest. I absolutely LOVE your comment about metamorrphosis...being 12 and 17 you are soooooooo right about them coming into their own as young men. Not my babies anymore : ( BUT will be wonderful men one day very soon! Thanks VF!
It certainly is a clever shot. There is nothing better than working on a project with you kids.
