@Nick: I guess with the drought here (which is severe, we haven't had any decent rain in forever) the water is just standing still so green water isn't surprising is it? Perhaps a bit of reflection off the trees above too.
Hey jen , the duck in the front that is facing the opposite direction ...... is that a DECOY !! lol...maybe the way the sun is hitting it , it just looks plastic to me , great capture EYE-ther way :o)

OOOHH, love the droplets coming off the duck in the back!! Lovely shot my dear... makes me want to sit back and sigh.
Still no one to drain that pond for you, eh?!! Alligators still nipping at your butt or have they just chewed a huge chunk out now? I'll be that way in a about a month's time when things start getting to their seasonal norm of INSANE here at the office.

@amy: No draining of the pond yet! and that alligator won't let up! If it's not one thing it's something else...I spent like 2 hours Sunday working on some pictures and ended up being satisfied with like 2...and this is not one of them. grrrrrr...life is smothering sometimes! Thanks for the stop by... : D
Jen- I like how you managed to capture those cute little ducks coming from under the lush green trees! Are there a lot of ducks in the pond?

@Lost Valley View: Hey LV...there were about 4 ducks and like 6 canadian geese...the lady walking by told me it was the first time she'd seen them there...new additions perhaps.
