Baby Anole

Found this image hanging out on the memory card...Some other bloggers have said it's a an Anole Lizard and from what I can see on google I believe it's true...

My kids had these for "pets." Is this just running around your house? Nice colors and detail on the metal bar.

@Nick: Running around the deck and the living in the timbers that keep the slope back...there are some skink lizards too...the little ones are this really cool blue, but they don't stay still long enough for a shot : (

Yes this is an anole. When we lived in Conyers I'd see one once in a while. Winter range is "iffy" for their survival, but with warmer climes they may be moving further north.

@Viewfinder: They are so cool to watch running around the timbers and the deck...the cats like the show too, but lucky for the lizards they are indoor cats : )
We had skinks in Maryland that seem to hibernate/dissapear during the winter but every spring they showed back up.
