not sure why there is a mist around her face, but I thought it still worked and also I am short on new shots...I hope to change that today!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Nice pic. That mist adds a bit of mystery... to answer your question, I got my new D80 at a site that linked to a site I think you or somebody on Am3 gave me -- here's the company, I got Digicombo Kit #7 under Nikon -- www(dot)digicombos.com/ Thanks.

@Viewfinder: Thanks VF. I went to that site...and started drooling! LOL I think I will start hinting for the christmas gift ; )
Lovely young ladies. I find the hair coming in fron the right to be distractin. It takes away from the main focus of t he picture.

@Erik: Funny I thought that too...thanks!
Very nice capture Jen.
To answer your question on the D80, I got it at a website that linked to another one (I think you may have suggested the original) --
the address is: three w's dot digicombos.com/ -- I had to spell it out to get it past the normal screen security of Am3.

@Viewfinder: Thanks!!
Nice one. By the way that happened to me once and I was told a teeny, tiny bug landed (click) and on the next image, gone.

@Rebel Szczesny: Could be a bug, very hot and muggy before the rain came.
Excellent candid of these beautiful young ladies, Jen! I think the mist adds a nice "aura" to her :) Really like the crisp colours in this one. :)

@Rebecca: Thanks!
It's a nice, happy shot! I don't mind the hair. To fix the mist (lower contrast) in photoshop, you could create a layer mask covering all BUT her face, then lower the contrast on the rest of the image to match and merge the layers. Once uniform, then you could start tweaking the contrast to get it to look the way you want. This seems a bit roundabout, but for me it's easier than trying to simply increase the contrast of the misty image.

@Ken McCoy: I will have to try that Ken...I am not completely schooled in PS, but I will play around and see.
hey ho Jen--leave the mist--billy's in love again*-))--billy

@bronzebilly: Just don't tell Mrs. Billy ; )
very nice shot !!!

Hey Girl! Rebel could be right about the mist being a bug.. and in all likelihood that's what it is... No matter because it's a great shot!! The candidness of it is what makes it work. The hair included!! I can see why billy's in love!! LOL

@amy: Thanks Amy! I told Billy he better not tell Mrs. Billy LOL!!!
I like the candid shot! Really well done!!!

Could be she was moving her head, either way I think it adds to the photo, gives it more shape, some dimension... it's a great presentation Jen :)
