Pinot Grigio Hibiscus

I finally got around to getting some plants for my new home.
These particular hibiscus are the hardy variety and the blooms are the size of a small plate...and gorgeous!!!!
I also happened to like the name, my favorite wine ; ) CHEERS!

I've never seen this variety of hibiscus. Really striking blossom -- now I've got to look for some down here in FL. Your image is great. I love the textures on the individual flower petals, the central red color, and the shadow. The angle of the light source and the shadow make the whole thing electric. Tip o'the hat, Jen.

This is the first time I had seen them too...I bought some red ones too, but they have yet to bloom, hopefully soon!!

My neighbor has some of those hibiscus that are the size of dinner plates. Hers are red and I just noticed them in bloom yesterday.
