Cardinal

With the addition of the bird feeder now I also get beautiful birds coming to visit. This cardinal in particular comes many times a day!
(TO AMY: finally got a cardinal for you!)

I love cardinals. You got a great shot of a pretty perky one here, Jen. One thing I was really glad to see when we moved to Bradenton is that there are cardinals and mockingbirds here in good numbers. I'd hate be be somewhere where they were not. IMO, God lights up his world (our world) with cardinals and mockingbirds.

@Viewfinder: I just love all the cardinals and tweety birds that come around...first time I've had a bird feeder I can actually put where I can really enjoy it as much as the birds

Oh I wish we had these birds... they are so beautiful!! Great capture Jen!! He looks like he was waiting for you to take the shot. Love his colour against the brown of the leaves... he just pops out at you. Thanks my girl!!!!

hey ho Jen--first time I've seen one of these flappers--what a beauty an so well captured--it's not fair you know-the only birds we've got in Wales seem to be grey pigeons compared to you lucky b's--oh well flap away--birdybilly

@HorseRotorVator: No it's not fall, but the slope behind my house is better if we keep the leaves for water run off purposes...if we cleaned it all out we would just end up with a muddy mess.
