White Squirrel (Non-Albino) II

Not the greatest image...but I just love how he/she manuvered to get on that bird feeder!!

Just proves determination can pay off! : D

Really hard to get the little animals when they are on the move Jen! They move around so quickly. This one is really unusual - for me anyway - I only ever see black ones around here - and they stay near the town houses across the street where there are more trees. This one of yours is a really funny shot - and a splendid capture. I just love the way you caught him on that feeder. I can't feed the birds any more. We all had to stop as it was encouraging rats - they came after the bird seed,at night, that got scattered on the patio . Now I don't have hardly any of the beautiful little birds I managed to photograph earlier in the year. :-D

We had a black one back in Maryland that we saw from time to time...but never the white one! It doesn't come around everday, just in spurts!

Love it Jen, :) certainly was determind to get to the food!
My son showed me a video, of a squirrel, that had been nibbling at someones pumpkins, but the pumpkins had fermented, and the squirrel was drunk, from eating it! poor little think just couldn't get up the tree! :-D

@Viewfinder: It's funny this is the only squireel I have seen get on the feeder...even the chipmunks couldn't do it!

Squirrels and chipmunks are (from experience) very tough to shoot - they're too damned quick! Very nice pic!

I find it really tough to catch a crisp shot of these guys. A fast shutter speed is a must and shooting in burst mode does help level the playing field. What an unusual color for a squirrel.
