White Squirrel (Non-Albino)

The back of my house has a large deck, a timber retaining wall and a slope covered in all kinds of trees, various plants, and lots of little critters and birds!!
This White Squirrel doesn't come around everyday...but was nice enough to surprise me one day when I had my camera ready.
btw...there is no way I could capture him/her while outside, this image was taken through my backdoor.

@ColNed Pictures: I looked them up on the internet and there are a few places that actually have town festivals in their honor...not here, I think it was Ohio and North Carolina.

Yes all my little forest friends are fun to watch and of course take pictures of! I have some lizards too, they look like tiny crocodiles, but quick as lightening, one day though...I will get a shot!!! : )

I have never seen a white squirrel!! Very cool. You've captured it perfectly, Jen!! (even through the back door you do a stupendous job!!) I really like the framing and the tones against this little white fella is eye popping. Most Excellent my girl!!

Yes it does...in the fall I should have some great foliage shots because of the HUGE oak trees I have out back!
