One of the rare portraits of my oldest son without him making a face or a fake smile. Teenagers...gotta love 'em ; )
Thank you for all your support! Am3 is the greatest photo commutiy of ALL!!!!

I love your composition. The fact that he has covered one part of his eye tells me that he has a part of his personality that he'd rather not share with the camera. Great image, great job!

@Rags: Never thought of it that, though it was just because his hair is too long LOL : ) I will have to show him your comment, he'll like it.
Very good portrait! I know what you mean about the "making a face thing" I have a friend that has gone through that phase for the past 10 years!

@Craiger: Thanks Craig! I think my son will be the same way...took forever to get his senior pictures done!!! I had to quote lines from his favorite movie to get him to smile normal!
Great portrait! Reminds me of John Mellencamp in the 80s.

That, my friend, is one very fine portrait!! I hope you print that one and frame it for the mantel. You have so captured the essence of your son. And it is a bit Mellencamp-ish... I truly wish I was good with portraits.. I don't have the eye to really capture that je ne sais quoi people have hidden in their depths. You do!! This deserves more than an f-bomb!!!

@amy: I will print and frame it, but it's also on his my space page...there is one more I will post eventually that is pretty cool too. Thanks Girl!!! I have a love/hate relationships with portraits...I want people relaxed and willing and it's rare I get that...this was one of those very great moments.
Very calm expression, like the still waters over deep. But deep inside, there is a fire of intensity burning. That one eye he was willing to let be photographed gives it away. Nice, very nice portrait.

@bronzebilly u.k.: Well you know Billy, what's old is new again...amazing isn't it?
At least he actually allowed the picture to be taken. He's a handsome young man. He reminds me a lot of my nephew Ian. Very nice.

@alla: Shhh don't tell him that LOL!!!!
What a handsome young man, I look at my boys and try to picture what they will look like as they grow into young men but now that I have seen your son I kinda want them to stay young for just a little longer. It's so hard to let go. Great portrait, he will cherish this as he gets older. The fact that his mom took it will mean so much to him.
