The colors as the sun started to come up to the horizon were just fabulous...so beautiful and so breathtaking.

WOW Jen, this is fabulous shot, lovely color tones. Its indeed breathtaking. I am looking forward to this series of yours, have been always a sucker for sunsets, sunrises and silhouettes. And looks like you have got all of them in plenty here, and wonderfully captured. Cheers!!!

Wow!! You get up that early?!?!? LOL Fabulous colours and reflections again!! I just don't like that damn pole even though it does have a great reflection. I want my eye to be lead to the boat off in the distance... And I can see why you left it because of the colours in that quadrant of the frame.. hmm, maybe some cloning? And the purple of the water is stunning!! It is a great image Jen... sigh, just the pole.
Had a great weekend with my sister's family. No time for looking online... And almost got creamed coming home on the highway... which is not fun at speed!! Scared the **** out of me!!!!

@amy: LOL you are too funny! I actually like the pole, I think it gave it a little depth. But that's just me. Anywho...glad you had a good weekend, sorry about the highway incident, thank goodness you are safe now!!! : ) : )

@Walt: I am not a morning person...but when at the beach on vacation, I am up early almost everyday. The one shot I didn't get was a sunset by the Pier...ahhh next year I guess : )

Your early morning shots are so beautiful and clean; is the world really that colorful so early? I may have to break from sunsets and do some early getting up, to see things like this for myself (and my DSLR)... <grin>

this is really lovely -- and strangely enough -- the pole really 'centers' this composition (balancing out the fishing boat)! wonderful capture!
