Shrimp Boat

I got up VERY early a couple of mornings to get some sunrise shots...one morning the shrimp boats were in full force...so while I waited for the sun I took some pre-sunrise shots of the boats and the sky.

I love the way the boat is silhouetted against such an awesome sky. Love the sea bird following, hoping to get some shrimps maybe!

Very ambitious to get up so early; but doing so really paid off for this image. Really nice capture of the shrimp boat; I notice the red sky. Just out of curiosity, did it rain that same day? "Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning..."

Very beautifully done. In silhouette, for the first time it strikes me that there is something shrimp-like about the shrimp boats themselves. All those appendages on the superstructure make it look a bit like a shrimp on its back.

(I do hope you printed this one out and framed it)
