With the emotional wave I've been on for the last few weeks, leaving my job, packing, moving, helping the kids cope with moving, and unpacking, it was nice to sit and watch the calm waves roll in and have nothing to do but snap the shot : )
8/18/08 - I will out of pocket for a while. My laptop is having issues and I need to get it over to a service center to fix it. I hope it doesn't take too long to get it fixed. Wish me luck!

There is nothing like a beach to bring things back into perspective. Very nice view you've posted here, Jen.

@Rahul: Thanks Rahul...I just love watching the waves
Watching waves is magical. It's calming, I think, because of the rhythm. I had the unique pleasure of showing my mother the ocean for the first time some years ago. She was most surprised by the sound it makes. Now, in addition to watching the waves, I like to close my eyes and listen.

@TravBoy: Thanks!
I'm envious. Despite living considerably inland, I'm actually down at the docks usually 5 or 6 days a week. Know how often I actually get to take a breath and enjoy it? Practically never.

@Mike Cash: You should try and take a few moments to enjoy it! Make it a priority! : )
