@{H} creatives: Thank you.

@Stunner: LOL Thanks!!
This shot is just so appealing from the contrasts to the sense of everdayness of it. It just makes me smile. :-)

@Laurie: Thanks Laurie!
Yeah, I'm pretty tired too. The coffee isn't helping me this morning. I think a nap might be in order.
This is a nice shot! The fruit and door match a little bit.

@Shrig: Long weekend...wore me out LOL! Thanks!
Fantastic shot, your "oooo" look is just amazing. Its more like a spy camera here hehehe.... Whose house were you peeping in anyways ?? ;-) Or was it you were there to grab those colorful fruits, with your camera posing to be photographer hehehe....
Reminds me of the thing we did in our childhood to escape from being caught hehehe.. ;-)
Welcome back Jen and have a good rest, missed you around. Time to catch up. :-)

@Rahul: Just noticed it walking down the street and it just seemed (to me) that the fruit was being protected LOL!!! Thanks Rahul...nice to be back!!
Beautifully done. The ironwork (?) makes a fantastic frame. Superb color and detail.

@Beckie: Thank you! Yes that would be an iron gate, very popular in Charleston

Welcome back too from me Jen! I'm sorry but I did not realize you had been away. Have been just so tired too since I came back - too many things to do too soon! Your trip into the archives turned up a lovely photo. I love "doorways" photos. Been always meaning to look for some to take - my daughter has a set on the wall that she bought at some gallery or other - they are lovely for framing - not too big but four or five of them in a row in one frame with a kind of foggy filter around the edges.
A lot of your photos in the past would be beautiful framed - do you print any of them? :-?
29 May 2007 1:49pm
@Anne: I have a book of some that I have printed...I need to shift through and get a series that I can pick a wall for. I got this fabulous idea at a store over the weekend for a collage type display. Need to sketch it out and send it to you. I took a class on matting just haven't had the time to get the "correct" supplies and get some of them done. The creek ones from the Water Theme are getting printed soon and that will probably be my first matting project!
Well done! Beautifully captured!

@Amy: I love it when you're technical : D LOL!!!!!
That looks like a lovely garden and an inviting spot. Beautiful.

nice shot! while the fruit is forbidden, hmm...how about what's beyond that open door?:) welcome back!
30 May 2007 10:28am
@kairospix: Good question : ) Thanks!
This one contains everything for a very pleasant beholding: the form and place of the door with it color matching the oranges, the inside making you curious and feel welcome, the gate meaning privacy with its form contrasting the door opening and door, etc. One picture!
