Perfect Jeans...

Some of you may remember as a kid having that perfectly worn out pair of jeans with the holes in the back and knees...now my kids have them too : )
Playing around in ps again...I love color, but I think the B&W works well here.

You know the thing about photography (as I said to Craig yesterday) is what we're trying to portray through our images... it's also our interpretation of what the photographer is trying to say... Having said all that? This is, to me, an evocative image. The b/w conversion takes away all the distractions and makes me concentrate on the casual pose and carefree feeling. There. That's my long winded version of Great shot, Jen!

From time to time I just take these casual shots and straight out of the camera they aren't much but once I mess around with some ps effects it definitely gives it a much different feel.

Quite a hole I say. :D I like that shot and would call it a portrait even if there is no face at all. But the model is sitting in a very "visual" manner - heshe could be relaxed or kind of annoyed (like teens tend to be sometimes).
I think I can't express what I mean. Anyway I mean it.

and i agree with amy it gives off an evocative mood - partly also because the face of the person is not shown but just the knee, the elbow and a tear on the jeans

Oh, goodness! The thumbnail presentation for this shot made it look for all the world like somebody's rear end was hanging out of their jeans! (Combination of the elbow and knee).
