An odd flowering plant in the woods...I love the random focus and dusky feel to the image.

Hey Jen, great shot there, random focus rocks, isnt it ?? I love doing that in my shots at times, as long as all doesnt get out of focus. ;-)

@Rahul: It was hard, I was losing light and didn't want to use the flash...I took like three shots and this was the best one. Just enough focus and blur to make it interesting ; )
You are so right... the random focus works great!
Sorry I'm late visiting... nasty day yesterday... all's good just couldn't get there for trying.. you know?

@DTW: Russ said they may be phllox...I looked them up and they very well could be, but I am not completely sure.
Beautiful colors! Taking a camera along certainly makes a walk different from one without, doesn't it? Just make sure you don't jog or walk your dog when you go to the woods. (It's always the joggers and dog walkers who discover murder victims).
