Peek-a-BooPosted by Jen (Alpharetta, United States) on 7 May 2007 in Animal & Insect. Last week I was taking some pictures of my "Administrative Professionals Day" flowers, and Winnie decided she needed to join in on the fun. I have uploaded some of my favorite images to redbubble for sale http://www.redbubble.com/people/jenseye

Yvon from Meerkerk, NetherlandsGreat capture, great colours. Fun shot! Say hi to Winnie 7 May 2007 9:15pm HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesOh my God! I love it! The colors are AMAZING! 7 May 2007 10:58pm @HorseRotorVator: Thanks!! Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesOh My!!! I had a Tiger Tabby named Winnie, she lived to be nearly 21 years old. The only problem was that she wasn't a very nice cat, in fact she had a real nasty temperament. When I saw this photo and then read the name I thought uh oh Winnie has come to haunt me via the internet. This Winnie looks sweet though. 8 May 2007 2:08am @Laurie: This winnie has her moments...we adopted her a few years ago and I think she may have been mistreated or perhaps abandoned. When we first got her it was very difficult to get close to her, she'd run off or growl if you tried to pick her up...she's gotten a lot better and actually can be very sweet, when SHE wants to be LOL @M.E.: LOL!!! Thanks for the visit M.E.!! Stu from Kyoto, JapanThis is great Jen. I love that half the face is hidden and the colours are beautiful. Super shot! 8 May 2007 11:49pm @Stu: Thanks Stu!! amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaThis is just too perfectly cute!! What a fantabulous shot! Did you play with the colours when you processed this shot? I'm not sure if it's the light (which is great) or what ... but the colours do seem a bit saturated.. or is it my eye? I think this would also look so cool in b/w. BTW I've got 3 of these little beasties... my furry children. 9 May 2007 1:25am @amy: I did saturate the colors some...the lamp above didn't help, kind of washed out the colors. Mike Cash from Kiryu, JapanOne of the hardest things to do in photography is to take and present a cat photo that doesn't look overdone, gratuitous, or trite. Congratulations on a very well-done cat photo that is lovely and manages to avoid the pitfalls! I love this one. 13 May 2007 9:12am @Mike Cash: Thank you so much Mike!! |
