Hmm! I was wondering "Just in Case" What!?? But something was wrong because I can usually post a photo for the next day at -8hrs GMT (I'm on Pacific Time - Vancouver). It just wouldn't finish my upload! Got that message "something wrong in the time-space continuum".

Anyway, your Apple Blossom is still beautiful, I like the angle with the sky and clouds below the blossom. Very pretty. Thanks foir visiting my photoblog. It's very hard to photograph these birds, because they fly off at the least movement. I'll get some better ones yet!

The blossoms being in shadow works really well, especially contrasted with that very cool, cartoon-like sky! The darkness and contrast with the blue somehow concentrate the colour of the blossoms, something I really struggled with with my Japanese cherry blossom pictures. Don't know what's happening with the site Jen, will take a look tomorrow morning and see if its working before I post anything else I think.

Very nice shot, all the colors came out great and the sky didn't get washed out which I have a terrible problem with.
