Friday the 13th

I thought it would be appropriate to post a picture of the full moon on Friday the 13th.
I know some people don't like the number 13 and think that Friday the 13th is bad luck...I Don't!!!
It happens to be my favorite number and it's even more fun on a Friday...anyone want to guess why?

Another beautilful macro of yours today would have made me run to Nikon store right today. I was on the edge of it. ;-)
Love you buddy for being so caring and considerate... LOL. Great shot here, and an interesting moon with patterns.... or did you do something to it to emphasize on FRIDAY THE 13'th :-)

I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until I read it here! Then again when I'm traveling the only day I really remember is when I'm suppose to go home finally.

Lovely exposure of the moon with the plant silhouettes. Did you take it behind plants or did you add it? The TGIF thingy doesn't bother me anymore - I've been retired for some time! Don't know how all of you who go to work find enough time to do all this posting and commenting, as well as taking the photos? Ah well! I must be getting older and slower - I used to do six things at once too!

@Anne: I took through the trees...the moon had just come up over the mountains and I had a perfect view of it.
Oh I jump on and off when I can...having a wireless laptop helps alot!
The curse of multi-tasking...I do it ALL day long : )

I was born the 13th so every few years or so I get a birthday on Friday the 13th and it's always alot of fun!! (not this year though)

That's great how you got the silhouettes to render so sharply against the moon, without having the moon "flaring" at the edges.
