5 Lined Skink (I think)

Under my azalea bush lives a family of lizards, from what I have looked up on the internet I believe they are 5 lined skinks and this is an adult.

The juveniles (which I hope to capture very soon) are this incredible blue color...and they are QUICK, so wish me luck!! : )

@Art Monkey: I have a 10x zoom lens, but I also had to be pretty sneaky, they scare easily!

oh wow. That's a really good close-up. They do have lovely colours and even so when compared against the surrounding (leaves etc. I'm glad you included them in).

Great shot Jen! At work we just looked up the species for fun and noticed its small size. We thought it was decently sized at first. Hence, great macro action shot of the lizard!!
