What a week can do...

Last Monday I posted a lovely closeup picture of a ladybug on this same bush...amazing how things can change in just a week.
Hopefully Miss Ladybug will return soon along with warmer weather : )

Jen, I see you're making good profit form the weather (in a good way of course).
I am assuming that this shot has undergone a lot of cropping because I see a lot of noise in the background, but the ISO is 80. In any case, have you tried some noise reduction techniques? These still fall within allowable image editing.

Love the water droplets and the green against the dark background! The weather here is crazy too - last Wednesday it was in the sixties, and then Friday we had 6 inches of snow. But hey, "weather change" can definitely be synonymous with "photo op."

Wow! I love the crispness of this, it glistens with light and colour. We too have had weird weather - all morning it was warm, then an hour of serious thunderstorm, lightening, hail, torrential rain, then hot and sunny the rest of the afternoon...!

This bush stays green all year long, I have no idea what it is though.

Amazing colour in this one Jen. You're right about the weather. We've had afew surprizes here too. Thought it was warming up but then it's suddenly 5C again.

March is weird weather month in Holland as well. We had some spring days and yesterday and today snow and hail. I didn't go out because I have a cold, but looking at your photo I did miss a great opportunity.

Crazy weather. It got colder in Michigan and has precipitated last night. But 50s and sunshine by weekend! Perhaps you're lady bug will come back before April.

I like this one better than yesterday's. The image seems to be organize one's perspective more clearly. BTW, I sometimes use a freeware noise-reduction package called Neat Image for blog-sized image files.

I'll have to check that out...I am so lost in some of this image editing stuff, not as techo savvy as most. I am in awe on what you can do with it and what you can create!

It used to do the same thing when I lived in NC. One day it was not, next it was cold. I don't miss that at all. Nice shot though, I like all the drops of water or ice in this case.
