When you visit Charleston you will see these wonderfully crafted sweetgrass baskets everywhere. They are made by the locals and are exquisite! Because they are handcrafted and take hours to make, they are also very expensive. So the best I could do was take a photo to remember them by. I hope I did them justice.

@R: A small bank loan would get you a couple. They are handmade, literally!! I saw one that was the size of a platter and it was $400.00...gorgeous, but way out of my budget! There was one the size of a small dipping bowl...$25.00!!!
WOWZA !!!! I think I need to get some lesson on basket weaving .....Holy Makerel !!
