Beautiful Swan

I spent this past very, very cold Sunday morning at Lake Elkhorn taking pictures of the lake and its' lovely waterfowl. This swan was kind enough to pose for several photos for me...I think she's done this before : )

Wow she's gorgeous. I would love an opportunity to take a photo similar to this. I got a chance with a black swan...well it looked like a swan but it was fighting so not as peaceful as your photo. The sparkles on the water really add to a fairytail like feeling of the picture. Keep it up.

@Colour blind: Thank you so much! She was so relaxed that she actually came right up under the dock ledge I was sitting on, but I couldn't get a close up because it was an awkward angle for the camera, unless I felt like going for a very cold swim : 0

Thank you! That is the one thing that drew me to the lake was the sunlight shining on the lake.

A swan came up to my mom once when me and Scott were little cause we were eating french fries and my Mom screamed and ran away and left us there!! Can you just see her doing that.ha Just thought i'd share that with you. I like the sparkly water.
